Why bring on a new build if the other 8 aren’t finished yet
Yeah we def need more videos
KC has zero filter and I love it 😂. Moral of the story is it takes what it takes but you can accomplish what you set out to do without spending every dollar you have. It does explain why alot of builds never reach the paint part. Rust(patina) is cheaper 😂
Beautiful
I'd fix it for the 6200. We hungry and my pockets are empty.......... Lord's blessings and patience. Nice craftsmanship by the way well worth the 105.
😂😂
Every industry is like this. I was in grading & landscape construction for 26yrs. Now in architectural metal & wood work. Concepts are the same, regardless of industry. Some customers think they know what's up & don't want to listen to the guy they're hiring who does it day in, day out. Hardheaded 'Pot-Stirrers' who don't listen to the 'Wisdom of Experience' always end up complicating matters and pay more in the long run. Best customers discuss their goal with the shop, then trust & allow the shop to take the best path possible to achieve that outcome.
I built one of these trucks. Took 3 cabs. Just the way it is
I like the way KC tells it like it is. I've been doing paint and body work for 46 years and many times try to tell the customers what they need but they never listen. Now I don't sugarcoat anything. Love watching u guys. It's no staggering. Real as fuck
Driving that Chevelle around the pothole landmines in the gravel... As nice as the shop is equipped, dressed-out and kept up... why hasn't the driveway/parking lot been paved?? I'd think that'd be one of the first requirements for a high-end body shop.
Back in the old days they call them romp Rangers😮
“Blocked it out in Three Hundred and twenty grit.”cracked me up never heard sand paper explained that way..not three twenty but 300 And 20 grit.. I will be saying it like this from now on
I’m interested in the Ole blue bed , let me know. Cool build
Will get some money back on the cab and parts, plenty of home rodders would be interested in them, but still a pretty expensive lesson to learn 😂
I was thinking that the company’s name that shunt be named was Dynacorn bodies….
Cool video..🇦🇺🦘
Awesome! Lord be praised!
We fix original vehicles where i work and we charge 130$ an hour ! Buy some metal and learn how to form it I mean the machine's do the work It's doing the customer a dis service to buy every part when you can make it or buy a patch panel to cut and make it. I work in the rust belt I feel sorry these guys actually get new part's and still can't make them work just comical by the way a break a shrinker stretcher and a body hammer 300$ AT Harbor Freight just saying and to the camera man HOW brown is the nose?
Poor Tod.
This is the good and bad with car restorations. As a business owner, it's hard to get through to some customers of the cost of shop rate cost of experience and what the end project is going to cost like. As a hobbyist, and someone who has a custom car shop that builds cars for himself. It's nice when there's no rules, and you can just do it. All you want and you're just throwing it together to make a fun toy. When it's done, it's not perfect and you don't sell it as something perfect or even get rid of it when you do it for yourself, but when you're building it for a customer, there's certain things that have to be done. Which personally I think, takes the fun out of building the car? If you wanna cover a little rust up, put shiny paint on it so that it looks good for yourself and enjoy it absolutely fine. The sad part is. How many cars are being presented as fully restored or well done? And they're rust buckets covered in bondo. And some poor sap pays a ton of money for it.
Great episode, continue doing what you do.
Ouch 🤦🏻♂️ happy fourth fellas
Hire someone at cheaper pay to work there. Or apprenticeship they don't get paid
Fine fourth to all you all 👍
long strokes..
I dunno why but I dig this style of video, with the microphone passing and everyone getting their turn. Don't see any other channels do this. Yall are naturals, great shop you put together.
Appreciate that. We just keep it real and mostly raw. Someone said we we're trying to be too much like a tv show but literally I show up unannounced for 2hrs with a camera and just shoot what's going on. The guys are def naturals for sure.
and an informed talking cameraman.
@@Photobombin I don't get any TV show vibes. To me it feels kinda like a fly on the wall with a really nice lens just filming everyone's vibe that day. Yall seem at ease. Good stuff!
@@JasonEdelman66 I’ve been filming in hot rod shops since 2016 so I’ve had a lot of time to learn many different aspects from custom fab work, to electrical, to bodywork and paint. The biggest thing I’ve been educated on is the cost of labor and materials and how fast it adds up.
I would like to see more work like Classic Car Studio.
No such thing as a bolt on - I think there is a shirt for that
Happy fourth Casey
Badass besafe
KC, you are the absolute GOAT in the painting biz, I am truly impressed as a non body man, at your ability to do ANYTHING….. Keep it up brother!
Somebody in july 2024
Definitely understand Casey mine's cars cars cars bikes toys best friends❤ in the Chevelle Malibu badass have a good weekend guys
That’s one sweet c10
Don’t lower the Big 10 truck. It’s perfect and a survivor. Plenty of other trucks to modify. It’s to perfect in stock original form.
Lots of great work happening 👍

Nice!!! 👍👍
Can we please get merch?
Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
👀🇺🇸👍🦴
I like to see a trend of a clean factory restoration instead of the usual ls swapped, patina paint job ( boring).
Good job on the Chevelle KC. In the earlier video, you could see the color change from the door to the quarter when parked outside.
I remember on the show when KC painted at his house and the cars got delivered to Ass Monkey. It's crazy to see where he's at now.
How Did KC Get Into Painting & Body Work?
Thanks for asking I've been wanting to put together a Q&A episode for KC. See if he has any good stories to share as well from his time working on the show. I know he has shown me wild footage that's never going to see the day of light so i'm sure there are some stories he can dig up.
I get that you are a Master of your craft, but sometimes a person can only nitpick so much. It ends up being counter productive or a waste of time, $, and resources.
I'm confused I been doing this trade for 30 years! I thought it was normal to fabricate parts to fit build's I never heard of buying a part to fit..
Because parts don’t exist for the application they need. It’s easier to buy something that’s nearly there and modify it as it saves time over building from scratch.
Not everyone has the tools to fabricate everything they need. Tools being knowledge and physical tools.
Fabricating parts isn't a big deal at the Paintshop but the problem is educating the clients at times. When clients find parts that are "supposed to bolt on" and then KC calls them to tell them he has to make something then it's all about saving money on an hourly rate of $105 per person.
